Following a successful career in retail sales, Lorna wanted to expand her career options to include more office duties and responsibilities.
While at M. Turner & Associates, Lorna met with a Job Coach who referred her to a series of workshops to assist her with her career decision making and job search skills.
Through the career decision workshops, Lorna was able to identify occupations that supported her personality, skills and abilities. Lorna then attended job search workshops where she learned how to update her resume which, when completed, clearly demonstrated her transferable skills from her past work experience into a new exciting career.
She also attended an Interview Skills workshop to prepare for the interviews that would soon be coming her way!
Shortly thereafter, Lorna was offered and accepted a position as a “Personal Account Manager” with a local company and where she now enjoys continued success in her new career!
